They also present the only extensive treatment of physical layer, link layer, and medium access control layer design issues, including up-to-date standards activities. Since the design of these layers is intrinsically linked to lower layers (e.g., signal propagation, and RF/Analog circuits), the authors provide comprehensive analysis of the fundamental circuits and digital signal processing approaches (including A/D and D/A convertors) for broadband millimeter wave systems. Throughout, Millimeter Wave Wireless Communication Systems presents new, fundamental knowledge and design rules and techniques not yet in standard development, making this an exceptional text for practicing research engineers in both industry and academia.
