Are you interested in an honors research experience in a university environment?

The Cooperative BioActive Systems (CBAS) Initiative at Polytechnic University is announcing an oppurtunity for high school students and teachers with outstanding interests in science and engineering to participate in a four week program and learn about protein engineering, Bio Materials and Bio Sensors, Drug Delivery, Bio-mechanical systems and bio collective behavious. Application Instructions

Please submit a transcript and a nomination letter from a science teacher. Students should currently be at the sophomore (10th grade) or junior (11th grade) level, and have completed general science and biology/living envrionment curriculum with a minimum score of 85 in each.

Duration of Program

Wednesday July 9, 2008 to Tuesday, August 5, 2008. 4 Hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Additional Benefits

Student Participants will earn 3 college credits towards a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, Chemical and biological Sciences or Mechanical Engineering at Polytech University. All participants will recieve an honor ceritificate upon successfull completion of the program.
